The Pingelly Railway Station was built in 1889 to connect Pingelly with the community, and holds tremendous heritage and culture for the community and the whole of Western Australia. As the railway station is approaching ninety years of age, signifcant work was required in the restoration process. One of the most difficult challenges was replacing the roof and re-lining the interior. The restoration group reached out to Knauf Insulation for a donation of Earthwool insulation for use in the walls and ceilings of the railway station. The performance credentials and sustainability of Earthwool insulation made it a welcomed additon in this project. Once completed the refreshed railway station will become a comfortable and welcoming environment thanks to Earthwool insulation.
