Knauf Insulation North America is today taking part in Greenbuild — the world’s biggest exhibition and conference dedicated to sustainable building.
Last year a total of 703 exhibiting companies and 24,731 people attended the three-day event including architects, designers, contractors, manufacturers, specifiers, policy makers, building product buyers, LEED consultants, property managers and non-profit representatives.
Amanda Cook, our Director of Brand and Marketing Communications for Knauf Insulation North America (KINA) said: “We have been involved in Greenbuild every year since 2005 because we consider it to be one of the premiere events that focuses on the importance of sustainability and environmentally-friendly products and practices.”
Leader in sustainable product manufacturing
Throughout the event, our sustainability team will host a booth in the exhibition hall meeting with green building specialists as well as taking part in a wide range of summits, workshops and green building tours.
Amanda said: “Greenbuild is a fantastic opportunity for us to continue open dialogues with key audiences in the green building community. It allows us to highlight products and manufacturing processes that our competitors cannot and positions KINA as the built environment industry leader in sustainable, transparent product manufacturing.”
Helping specifiers gain credits in GBRS
This year the U.S. Green Building Council event also provides an opportunity to unveil our new logo which features the tagline ‘For The World We Live In’ — underlining our commitment to the sustainable building community — and also showcase our partnership with sustainableminds.com.
At sustainableminds.com specifiers can access third-party verified information about the sustainability of our products ranging from their Red List-free status and technical performance to their environmental impact at every stage of their lifecycle and how they contribute credits in Green Building Rating Systems.
This year Greenbuild is being held in Chicago. Keynote speakers include Human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and the Mayor of San Juan in Puerto Rico, Carmen Cruz.
