Knauf Insulation celebrates 11 inspired leaders

Eleven exceptional Knauf Insulation employees yesterday received Leadership Awards at our Annual Leadership Conference.

The award-winners were celebrated for outstanding achievements that ranged from inspired customer-centricity, new well-being programmes and exceptional sales performance to financial excellence, continuous improvement, product development and regulatory breakthroughs.

Knauf Insulation Group HR Director Patrice Briol said: “Our award-winners demonstrate leadership qualities and live the Knauf Values every day.

“They are an inspiration to everyone in Knauf Insulation and outstanding role models of our company’s commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation, partnership and customer-centricity.”

The winners are:

Barbara Subic, Sales and Market Manager Green Solutions in Systems Division, who played a pivotal role in the creation of a highly successful global sales team for green roof and landscaping solutions.

Veronica Cross, UK National Customer Service Manager, who drove continuous improvements leading to a major culture change and significant benefits for customers supported by an inspired team.

Julie McKean, Human Resources Manager for Northern Europe, who championed and piloted new initiatives to support the mental well-being of colleagues and increase awareness of issues surrounding mental health.

Denis Telyukov, Retail & DIY Sales Director for Russia & CIS, who created an effective and successful new sales structure that maximised team potential and delivered outstanding results.

Biljana Dimitrijević, Head of Regional Controlling for Eastern Europe and Middle East, whose positive approach to new challenges ensured continuous improvement, proactive engagement and regional success.

Sébastien Linthout, Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager in our Visé plant in Belgium, who inspired workers, management and unions to understand and embrace a culture of CI for the benefit of everyone.

Marc De Sainte Foy, Regional Technical Market Manager in our Western Europe team, who played a critical role in the design of highly successful customer-centric products at our newly-launched plant in Illange, France.

Bruno Bliki, Product Stewardship & Standardisation Manager in our Visé headquarters, who worked tirelessly across our regions to navigate the fast-changing regulatory and market landscape in partnership with colleagues worldwide.

Aurélie Diliberto, Corporate Finance Advisor in our headquarters, who effectively secured the financial foundations and agile processes required to drive the start-up success of Knauf Insulation’s new joint venture, Knauf Energy Solutions.

Andreas Moutsatsos, Regional Finance Director for Asia Pacific, who played a key role in developing a successful business case for our new €120 million plant in Malaysia.

All the winners received their award on stage with the exception of Bernd Dieter Saulder who is recovering from a serious accident but has demonstrated exceptional commitment to his customers by working even while convalescing.

Mr Saulder, a Key Account Manager for Wood Wool in Austria, who has more than 20 years of experience with the company, was recognised for his motivated partnership approach to customer-centricity that significantly exceeded targets.
