European Key Account Manager OEM

The location of the position will be at one of our Knauf Insulation's offices in Europe and will involve frequent travel throughout Europe.

REPORTING TO

Commercial Director OEM

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identifying and building relationships with existing and new potential customers across the European region for the long-term development of a dedicated strategic segment

- Playing an active role as part of a Field Sales team, working closely with colleagues across this geography to ensure synergy and to optimize results across all aspects of our activity

- Manage the budgets allocated to the strategic segments and ensure a long term development plan

- Work as a member of the Sales team acquiring new business with both new and existing customers

- Prospect and cold call specific target customers across region

- Achieve sales & profit targets

- Build successful commercial relationships at senior levels within the accounts through the management of cross-functional teams (marketing, R&D, customer service, finance, etc.)

- Propose innovative and high-quality solutions to deliver added value to our customers through profound knowledge of the products/production facilities of Knauf Insulation

- Develop customized value offering and build long-term relationships with customers ensuring that the correct level of focus is applied to strategically important clients

- Create, present and manage customer expectations along with the support of the appropriate department

- Responsible for receiving orders, generating profitable revenue, increasing market share and obtaining customer trust with accounts assigned in the region

- Handle all day-to-day sales activities for the customers

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

5 - 10 years of sales experience with a track record of consistent success within German and/or European market and dealing with Key Accounts.
